Rainbow Riches for Free! Oh Yes!

Rainbow Riches is the most popular fruit machine in the UK, of that there is absolutely no doubt. If you own an amusement arcade (and there aren’t many of those left these days) then you’ll probably read Coinslot, which is the esteemed trade magazine. And not only that, you’ll be aware of the success of Rainbow Riches.

Rainbow Riches is a slot machine manufactured by IGT, an American company whose British wing, Barcrest, are much better known in the UK. In fact, Barcrest have been around for over 30 years, and certainly for someone like me, who used to hang around seafront amusement arcades as a youth, used to play their games with fond-ish memories.
I say fond-ish because I probably wasted more of my pocket money than I ought to, but there we are, it’s all water under the bridge now.

Rainbow Riches has to be the crowning achievement of Barcrest. Certainly, the graphics are awesome and there hasn’t been a game like it before and indeed since.

It is difficult to say what the best feature is – the jury is certainly out. Personally, the Pots of Gold has to be the aim of the game, with a guaranteed big win assured, and it’s a feature I have only had the luck to attain about three times in my life, the last time being a frankly disappointing bronze award. Never mind, can’t win ‘em all eh!

Rainbow Riches – I think I love You

Okay – So what’s the Title all about .

Well I  guess I’m only saying it because I had a big win the other Night .

I probably don’t really Love Rainbow Riches , well not in the traditional sense .

But I did play really well and did find the wee fellows crock Of Gold , so I guess that you could say that Rainbow Riches I really , really Like you .

Okay, so here how it happened . I’d been playing for Free at Virgin casino for the most part of the evening and was doing so well that I finally took the plunge and registered with a small deposit .

I’d then played really cautiously ridgedly sticking to my budget. I always set a budget before playing for real money , not only does it make sense but it makes the aftermath of gambling a whole lot more palatable.

Anyway, I eventually got the Road To Riches bonus and It was all uphill from there .

I’m not saying that I win every time , far from it , but a big win every now and then is a real joy and of course helps to pay of those old household bills .

However , I’m intelligent to know that it doesn’t happen all the time , lets face it if it did the casino’s wouldn’t be in business .

Is This the Month for Leprechauns

Okay so its Autumn .

Its getting darker , colder and the days are a little shorter.

But , it’s not all bad news . Traditionally October is the month of witches , warlocks and all things not of this world, perhaps even leprechauns . So it’s not only the days that are shorter!

But historically it’s really a time for celebration .

Why Do I say that well :

Halloween is on the 31st October and is the eve of a major Catholic festival, All Saints (1st November) which in turn is on the eve of the  pagan Celtic festival known as Samhain.

In the year 835 AD the Roman Catholic Church made 1st November a church holiday to honour all the saints. Although it was a joyous holiday it was also the eve of All Souls Day, so in Medieval times it became customary to pray for the dead on this date.

Another name for All Saints Day is ‘All Hallows‘ (hallow is an archaic English word for ‘saint’). The festival began on All Hallows Eve, the last night of October.

So although its now thought of as a time for scary stuff it really is a a time for celebration . None more so than if you are lucky enough to spot the Free Rainbow Riches leprechaun .

Morning Everyone,

How to spot a leprechaun , this is the question that’s on everyone’s lips. Well okay not everyone but quite a lot of us .

Well obviously being a wee small man he is very hard to spot so keep your eyes peeled and remember to look down on the ground in the undergrowth .

Leprechauns tend to be grouchy, so look for small men that appear to be very grumpy. They also tend to be quite unfriendly. This is probably because humans are always trying to catch them and claim their gold.

If you own an animal look on its back for it is said that the tiny men often harness animals to go riding . You never know .

The lucky leprechaun may even start appearing on Bingo sites . Wink Bingo has just introduced Monopoly and wheel of Fortune to its long list of slot games, who knows maybe soon they will have the lucky leprechaun from Rainbow Riches .
